‘Foraging Basket’ Weaving Class

Service Description

In this introductory class, we will use basic reed basketweaving techniques to weave a reed (rattan) basket. Complete with a leather strap, this is a lightweight and practical basket for foraging, market trips, and everything in between. We will cover basic weaving techniques (including checker weave and twining) and some simple leather working skills. No basketweaving experience necessary- all skill levels welcome! Price includes all materials.
